Lessons for Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and Festivus

Christmas, Chanukah, and Kwanzaa are almost upon us, and TeqSmart has created a few useful and applicable SMART Notebook lessons for these holidays. We also made a Festivus lesson :).

Santa Study explores St. Nick and how different cultures celebrate Christmas.

A Joyous Kwanzaa explains the traditions and symbols of the celebration of pan-Africanism.

Let’s Celebrate Chanukah teaches students about the holiday and provides fun learning activities.

Festivus: The Holiday for the Rest of Us provides information and demonstrations of the Seinfeld’s Frank Costanza’s answer to the December holidays.

We at Teq have gotten a little brash and cocky, and we’re going to come out and say that we have the best Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and Festivus SMART Board lessons available on the Internet, although we most likely have the only Festivus SMART Board lesson.

Go ahead and download these free lessons and any others from the Holiday and Seasonal lessons on our Educator Resource Center. If you think you’ve found a better holiday lesson, let us know, but we reserve the right to argue.

Humor is a sign of intelligence, and learning has to be fun if it’s to stick! This is a great lesson for that last day before vacation.

Brash and cocky are good! Keep up the great job.
