In this class designed for Pre-K through 3rd grade teachers, we will explore how to create and facilitate games on the SMART Board. Games can be a great motivator for students to learn and can be used to review and explore academic concepts in all subject areas. We will look at and create games for small groups and whole class instruction.
The course will feature hands on activities in the following areas:
- Why children learn through games
- Where to find game templates
- How to create your own game templates
- How to organize games in the classroom
- How students can design their own games
This class will be offered five times this summer.
