New Educreations Features on the iPad

Educreations is an app for the iPad that many educators and students are using as a tool to explain concepts, present ideas. and share knowledge.

Recently, Educreations updated their app. You might want to check out the great new features that have been added:

  • Text tool – tap on the “T” on the tool bar then tap where you want to add text.  You’ll notice a few tools at the top of your keyboard – text color and size as well as left and right arrows to move your cursor while inside of the text box.
  • Duplicate pages – tap on the plus sign in the lower right corner. This gives you the option to either duplicate the page including only the elements you initially placed on it or duplicate the page with any ink annotations you’ve added to it.
  • Access to more resources for images – tap on the image icon on the tool bar. In addition to using your iPad’s camera and Photos, you can now find a photo you’ve saved in Dropbox or do a web search.  The web search is extremely easy. Enter a search term, tap to choose an image and it’s automatically placed on the page.  Any photos in your Dropbox account only require a tap on the name to insert them as well.

How do you think you and your students will make the best use of these new tools in Educreations?
