Celebrating Learning

Today we celebrate the completion – and beginning – of the Daf Yomi cycle. Next month, many of our children will begin their elementary school careers. By the next siyum Daf Yomi, they will need to have mastered…

  • Vocabulary
  • Grammar
  • Gematria
  • Abbreviations
  • Critical Thinking
  • Memorization Techniques
  • Communication Skills
  • Flow Charting
  • Social Skills
  • Verbal Skills
  • Writing Skills
  • and lots of information

…in order to learn that coveted Daf Gemara.

Some children will have greater success when presented with written material, but many will process pictures or sound better. Some will need to experience learning through movement or song. All children need the opportunity to be creatively engaged in the learning process.

All of this means that your children’s teachers need to have a lot of tools at their disposal and the comfort and experience to know how best to use them. Teq celebrates learning in all of its forms and styles. It is our goal to help teachers to inspire each child to become a self-sufficient learner capable of unlocking the wisdom of the Torah.

Teq – It’s all about learning.
