Learning Objects allow teachers and students to exchange ideas. They contain interactive information built in multiple layers that can be compared, contrasted and enhanced. The 13 colonies map, preloaded with facts relating to each colony, can easily be expanded by teachers and students. Interactive game-show templates can be used to present new or review existing materials. A mathematical equation represented as a function machine—put in a number and out comes another—allows students to figure out the mathematical function governing the operation.
