About the position:

One of our homegrown solutions is called iBlocks, which is a series of project-based learning (PBL) pathways designed to help schools implement PBL into classrooms that don’t have PBL experts. This Inside Sales position is based in our LI headquarters and will focus on selling the iBlocks solution to states where we don’t have current sales representatives. iBlocks are sold by the title and are not subscription based, so your role would be focused on selling additional titles to your customers and identifying new customers to make their initial purchase. iBlocks have become an integral part of our sales solution and we are seeking a candidate that is experienced in education and/or solutions selling.

This role would involve calling K-12 districts & schools in the central and western parts of the United States, conducting virtual meetings to demonstrate the product, and leveraging our in-house experts to help you complete the sale. You will focus on:

  • Open new territory/customer base
  • Build and manage your pipeline through our CRM system
  • Make an average of 85 outbound calls daily
  • Conducting web demos with customers

We have a team focused on implementation, support, and effectiveness post-sale, so you would only be responsible for selling!

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 1-2 years selling experience or K-12 teaching experience; K-12 experience preferred
  • Ambition to begin or continue a sales career; self-motivated and driven
  • Strong communication skills; ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with ability to prioritize
  • Be highly collaborative, reliable, and a team player
  • A robust work ethic with a sense of accountability
  • Be coachable, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • An open mind, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for learning

What we offer:

  • $40,000-$50,000 base salary PLUS uncapped commission with opportunity to make over $100k+
  • Generous PTO plus 14 paid holidays
  • We take work-life balance seriously! Defined workday (no evenings or weekends required)
  • Comprehensive insurance: medical, dental, vision, life, disability
  • 401k savings plan with company matching
  • State-of-the-art facilities including demo products for employee use
  • Regular training and professional development opportunities
  • Fun company culture including in-office perks like daily snacks, holiday celebrations, sponsored lunches, discounted products, and much more!

This position is onsite; there is no remote work available.
