Most Popular Notebook Lessons

Fractions
This lesson is an introduction to fractions.  Fractions will be explored as parts of a whole, location on a number line and parts of an area.
Perimeter
Teacher will introduce the topic of perimeter to the class while students interact with the Smart Board lesson to check for understanding. Students will be able to describe what perimeter means and what tools are used to measure it. Students will have the opportunity to measure for perimeter in inches as well as identify objects where perimeter can be measured.
6 By 5 Jeopardy template
This new and improved Jeopardy template contains 6 colums with 5 rows in each to allow for more review questions. Be sure to check out the attachments folder on how to use it.
ABC Letters
  During a group lesson, each student will take a turn to come up to the Smart Board and interact with various types of pages related to alphabet recognition.  Positive feedback and reinforcement will be provided by the teacher.  The teacher will model on the Smart Board the lesson’s objectives by using her finger to drag items to a specified placement.
