The first phase begins with a discussion on how current technology can be successfully implemented both inside and outside the classroom for an enhanced learning experience.

The second phase includes a district-wide survey of hardware, software, and professional development resources. Our site survey covers your specific requirements, and detailed measurements of each classroom. We assess and verify that the equipment you have chosen is the right match for the space and your specific needs.

The third phase concentrates on a collaboration to review the findings and draw conclusions based on the district’s desired outcomes. These conclusions provide the necessary information to customize and present a district-wide project. This final phase of planning leads to full implementation.

Our team of certified installers has performed more than 80,000 installations over the past eight years. More than 40,000 of the installations have used our whiteboard rail system. This experience and expertise is unmatched by any other company in the industry.

To help you manage your classroom technology, we offer an inventory management/asset tagging service, which provides

• Serialized tag identification with room number
• Reports of all items by room and school
• Email and/or hard copy reports for the school or district
• Permanent record-keeping on Teq’s servers, with free access to the information upon request

We can also register your items with the manufacturer. In some cases, registering the product will extend a manufacturer’s warranty.

Teq’s Service Plan provides an unparalleled level of convenience for schools. Rather than having to scramble for money when a service call is needed, pre-purchasing hours establishes a bank of time schools can use when scheduling service visits.

These visits will involve troubleshooting any issues that may exist with projectors, interactive whiteboards, or accessories.

Our certified technicians are trained to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of classroom technology products, including interactive whiteboards, projectors, speakers, wireless devices, response systems, document cameras, SAFARI Montage media management and distribution systems, and related accessories from all manufacturers.

For projectors, our certified technicians can troubleshoot image issues, cabling issues, or powering-on issues. Maintenance can include cleaning of the filters, lamp replacement, and resetting the lamp and filter meters.

For interactive whiteboards, we can analyze any issues with touch, writing (including orientation), pen trays, controller cards, and cabling.

For SAFARI Montage, we can perform hard drive replacements, content activation, server maintenance, and device/user configuration.

In all cases, if a replacement is needed, we will uninstall the malfunctioning unit and reinstall the replacement provided by the manufacturer.

Teq’s Service Plan is available to be purchased in five-hour bundles. Unlike an extended warranty, these hours do not expire. They can be rolled over year-to-year.

Our Preventative Maintenance Program provides districts with up to two visits per year from a technician. The visits include an inspection and analysis of devices, with the intention of finding potential issues before they occur.

After each inspection, you’ll receive a comprehensive service report that outlines all maintenance performed and provides a variety of valuable information for district recordkeeping, including

• Projector lamp hour use
• Projector lamp hour firmware resets
• Projector filter maintenance
• Product firmware upgrades
• Product serial numbers for all projectors, interactive whiteboards, peripherals, and accessories
• Warranty information on all registered products
• Registration for product warranties
• Recommendations for lamp replacements, missing parts, etc.
• Each preventative maintenance visit lasts approximately 30 minutes per interactive whiteboard
