Creating a New Google Classroom

Google classroom is a collaborative working environment where teachers can create virtual classes for students to join, manage, and assign work and communicate with students. Teachers can be invited to co-teach a Google class, and parents can receive summary reports about their child’s work and progress.
How to create a new a class in Google Classroom in 5 easy steps
1. Open a web browser, go to classroom.google.com, and sign in with your Google account.
2. On the welcome screen, click the plus sign at the top and choose “Create class.”


3. In the Create a class dialogue box, type in the class name – you can also enter additional information about the class.
4. Click “Create.”

5. The class will be visible on the main classroom page as a tile. Classes can be archived as well.
