New SMART amp Feature and Video – Interacting with SMART Notebook Files within SMART amp

SMART amp feature makes a change for the better

We’ve always been big fans of both SMART Notebook and SMART amp. However, when in SMART amp, the interaction between these two solutions left something to be desired. Now all that has changed with SMART’s latest update.

Within SMART amp, users can now interact with SMART Notebook files inside of the SMART amp workspace. (Prior to this update, users were only able to view Notebook files that were inserted into a SMART amp workspace as if they were only an image.) 

With this update, users now have the exact same interactivity they would with their SMART Notebook file, whether they are in Notebook or in amp. This means that students are now able to individually interact with Notebook files within SMART amp, as well.

With this update:

  • Teachers do not need to re-create interactive slides in SMART amp that are already created in SMART Notebook
  • Allows for individual practice by students using the exact same content covered in class using the SMART Board
