Teq Launches OTIS for educators,™ a Redesign of Their Industry-Leading Edtech Professional Development Platform

 
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY, September 11, 2019 – Teq (https://www.teq.com) has launched OTIS for educators™ (https://otis.teq.com), the new look of their popular online professional development platform formerly known as Teq Online PD (Opd). OTIS for educators™ (Online Technology and Instructional Sessions) offers educators instructional support around today’s educational technology. The subscription-based platform has seen wide adoption across New York City, Philadelphia, and San Antonio school districts, and this growth has prompted a redesign and the inclusion of several new features. Highlights from the platform refresh include the following:

  • School/district uploaded content: Schools and districts subscribed to OTIS for educators™ now have the option to host their own content on the platform. With this new feature, schools have a secure and convenient place to store, host, and stream any specific in-house training and/or PD content.
  • Enhanced user experience: The platform has undergone a complete redesign and offers a friendlier look and feel, easier navigation, and increased usability around course viewing, playlisting, and more.
  • Skillsoft content integration: Coming soon, a new integration between Teq and Skillsoft will allow existing and future OTIS for educators™ subscribers a convenient way to complete mandated training around first aid, CPR, and bloodborne pathogens awareness.
  • New purchasing options: The PD platform also offers new subscription configurations that allow districts, schools, and individual educators to engage with relevant edtech content.

    When discussing the launch of OTIS for educators,™ Teq CEO Damian Scarfo expressed enthusiasm over the platform refresh and said Teq is “looking forward to serving educators across the country with our dynamic and robust online learning platform.
