Ah, January. The month where the fun of the holidays is behind us, and the bleakness of a winter sans Christmas lights becomes our chilly reality (at least for those of us living in colder climates). But we do have a way to ward off those winter blues—Teq Online PD!  With 11 courses including favorites like 20 Cool Things and new courses like Apps to Support Special Education Teachers (A.S.S.E.T), Teq Online PD will be here to help make this winter feel a little more sunny.

20 Cool Things (part 2) – January 3, 4-5PM

Join us for Part 2 of our 20 Cool Things course where we discover some more of the latest and least-known uses for the interactive whiteboard. This fast-paced session will explore 20 resources, features, and techniques, designed for your interactive whiteboard to help engage your students and enhance curriculum and instruction. Technology to Support the Danielson Framework – January 9, 3-4PM

The Danielson Framework is a constructivist set of instructional components aimed at helping teachers in four domains: Planning and Preparation, Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities. Collaborating in G Suite – January 12, 4-5PM

Are you curious about facilitating virtual collaboration? Do you need a little help to get started? Join us as we explore the many ways you can use the core productivity apps in the G Suite Collaboration series including Docs, Sheets, and Slides, to leverage their communication features to increase engagement, participation, and creativity in your classroom. We will discuss digital literacy, best practices, and give you implementation tips to make you feel comfortable using the G Suite Collaboration series in your classroom today! Register here.

Apps to Support the Special Education Teacher (A.S.S.E.T.) – January 31, 4-5PM

This iPad-centric course will cover a variety of skill-based and creation apps that are useful in the Special Ed classroom. The session will not just cover the functionality of the apps but best practices to incorporate these apps effectively with students. For example: Using iPads as a Center, for assessment or as a behavior management tool. The session will also reveal some of the best kept accessibility secrets the iPad has to offer to reach all types of learners. Register here.
