DLD_dateDigital Learning Day, coming up on February 5, 2014, is “about giving every child the opportunity to learn in a robust digital environment everyday, with the goal of success in college and a career.” The Digital Learning Day website is a great place to start where you’ll find exemplary models, toolkits, lessons, and many more resources.  If you’re interested in what Digital Learning Day means to other teachers in your state or across the US, be sure to take a look at the events that are going on.

At Teq, we provide opportunities for digital learning to educators every day.  Our website includes a growing number of resources to support educators who work daily to make effective use of technology in their classrooms.  Here are just few resources we provide:

Professional Development

Always ongoing and evolving, we offer professional development based on the needs of the school or district that integrate best instructional practices with effective uses of technologies including interactive whiteboards, mobile devices, web tools and more.

Events

We provide onsite and online learning events for educators via Teq hosted conferences, after school/evening courses and webinars.

Teq Online PD

We have over 50 courses available online that include SMART Notebook, Digital Storytelling, Edmodo in the Classroom, Blended Learning, Google Earth, and much more.

Community

We’d like you to be a part of our digital learning community.  Here’s what you’ll find there:

  • Blog – Our blog is updated throughout each week to provide educators with tips, tools, and thoughts about the instructional use of the latest in technology.
  • Educator Resource Center – The ERC contains interactive whiteboard lessons, resources, and mixed reality 3D content. Many of our interactive whiteboard lessons were created by educators during Teq’s Digital Teacher Certification.
  • Webinar Archives– Here you’ll a listing of all the webinars we’ve presented over the past few years.
FAQ Videos:  These short tutorial videos cover a wide range of topics including SMART Notebook, SMART Response, ActivInspire, LearnerPal, Google, and Edmodo.
  • Teq Resources – This is a growing library of downloadable ebooks and other resources and we’re constantly working on new materials for the future.

In addition to our website, you can also find us in the Edmodo Publisher’s Community as well as on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest where we connect with educators to provide continually updated information about what’s going on in the world of technology and education.
