These interactive sessions will be presented by Teq’s own Robert Abraham and Mandy Froehlich.
Robert Abraham has over 30 years of experience working in public and non-public schools. As a Director of Education at Teq, he is recognized for spreading awareness, especially in the special needs community.
Mandy Froehlich joins Teq with a plethora of experience as an educator, author, and also a consultant. In her role as a Director of Professional Learning, she is recognized for helping educators feel more confident, connected, and inspired to utilize technology in the classroom. Desmond Hasty has over 15 years of experience teaching Computer Technology, demonstrating classroom management, maintaining excellent communication with parents, and helping bring 21st-century skills throughout a K-12 environment.

Teachers of students with learning differences face unique challenges when it comes to supporting their students’ learning needs. However, with the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, there is a new opportunity to support these teachers in their work. Copilot and Gemini are AI-powered tools that can provide personalized assistance and support to teachers in a range of subject areas. In this presentation, we will explore how tools like ChatGPT and also Gemini can be used to assist teachers of students with learning differences in a variety of ways.

Teaching While Wired: Strategies for Regulating Educator Nervous Systems in a Digitally-Driven Classroom

In a world of notifications, fast-paced tech integration, and relentless digital demands, educators are being asked to teach from within systems that often leave their nervous systems overstimulated, dysregulated, and depleted. This session explores how digitally driven classrooms impact educators well-being at a physiological and emotional level. Furthermore, it explores how we can build more sustainable practices from the inside out. Blending neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, and Human Sustainability principles, this session will guide participants in identifying how digital workflows, tech tools, and communication platforms contribute to chronic stress patterns.
More importantly, it will offer concrete, doable strategies for creating calmer professional ecosystems. This includes sensory-aware tech routines, nervous system reset rituals, emotionally intelligent scheduling, and also mindset shifts around digital urgency. This session is not just about reducing screen time. It’s about reclaiming emotional regulation, focus, and agency in a world that rewards constant connectivity. Educators will leave with actionable strategies and a sense of what it means to teach in a tech-rich environment.
